What do you work with?

I have worked with technology, law and politics my entire career, and my experience and competence in these fields will hopefully help clients find innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges they face.

There is no doubt, that these are special times, and onboarding has been different than it would normally be. But fortunately, technology has enabled me to meet my colleagues, clients and get started on exiting projects.

What made you want to join Ramboll Management Consulting?

I have previously worked briefly with my new manager. He persuaded me to take the leap from public to private sector when I came back to Oslo after three years in Brussels, working for the European Commission.

The prospect of being “allowed” to use my experience and expertise in concrete projects with clients was too tempting to decline.

What is the most significant professional experience you have had so far?

Working in The Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation and the European Commission have been two great experiences, and I have learned so much from so many talented colleagues. Working in the EU gave me a unique chance to see and follow the political processes first hand - but more importantly I learned about the people of Europe and how we are all different in our common “Europeanness”. An invaluable knowledge, when working with digitalisation that knows no borders.

What are the most exciting developments within your field of work?

Digitalisation sees no borders - physically or technologically. And it is not an isolated field of expertise, it is a part of everything we do. For instance I worked on some of the digitalisation initiatives in the "European Green deal" that aims to make Europe climate neutral by 2050.
