Broadly, my work focuses on developing the Danish public sector, primarily within the municipalities. 作为高级顾问, 我会评估他们的拼搏体育官网客户端, 激励, and help them deliver their services more efficiently and with a higher quality. What made you want to join Ramboll Management Consulting?
I saw the opportunity of using my experience to support the Danish public sector to develop in a more sustainable direction – 可持续性 as broad as can be. 就个人而言, it was the possibility to experience and work with the overall trends that evolve in the public sector these years. 除此之外, I had a good impression of Ramboll as an employer where I can develop professionally and have a healthy work life balance.
What is the most significant professional experience you have had so far?
I have worked for the Local Government 丹麦 (KL) in the department that reached an economic agreement with the national government on behalf of 丹麦’s 98 municipalities. The agreement establishes the overall economic structures for the municipalities in the years ahead as well as other aspects like the tax base and the financial model for the local healthcare.
It was very exciting to be a small part of the work that lays the foundation for how the municipalities can provide services to a broad range of people and companies. I was myself involved in several different analyses that formed the basis for the political agreement, e.g. shortening the processing time in parts of the administration, more affordable and smaller public housing, and more equality in payment for private nursing homes.

What is the most exciting development within your field of work?
The municipalities are facing a large transformation now and in the years to come. 气候, 可持续性, and the UN’s sustainable development goals are highly prioritised matters. I find that immensely important and exciting. Sustainabilty 和气候 are fairly new areas for the municipalities to address and they need to find lasting solutions to these topics.
Are they able to use approaches from their existing service areas, or do they need to develop new methods? And how can the municipalities rethink their service delivery within the remaining areas to make more out of less? I find all these questions and the transformation very interesting and essential.
How are you planning on bringing this to our clients?
I tend to do so by setting the specific job or challenge into a larger context within the transformational work of the public sector. I will take a transverse view of their starting point and look across disciplines and municipalities. Having worked in the public sector I know how things work, 应该避免哪些障碍, and where opportunities might occur.
How do you define the higher purpose of what you do?
在一般情况下, I’m just proud to help the municipalities a little closer to solving the big issues they face. They need to evolve and transform to still be able to provide the demanded services to citizens in the future.
Taking part in projects and initiatives that helps secure the future of Danish municipalities and the welfare of the next generations is important to me.
