My job

I work with offshore projects in the North Sea as a senior engineer. I am originally from Italy, but moved to Denmark four and a half years ago. I have a master's degree in structural engineering from The Politecnico di Torino, which is Italy's number one engineering university.

During a stay in London, I got to know Ramboll and decided to move to Denmark to join the company.

At the age of 26, I was appointed technical manager for the subsea pipelines on a project at the Gina Krog field in the North Sea. I managed 15 people and the design of 60 km pipelines as well as contact with the client, suppliers and manufacturers. It was a big challenge, but we did it – and that makes me proud.

Another thing I really enjoy is the flexible working hours. You can form your work day on a flexible basis and there is a good balance between work and private life.
